This class is geared towards students who have previously taken the Intro to Lightroom Class through the Cape Cod Art Center or elsewhere or for those who already know how to use Lightroom, but need a refresher on how to import and process images as well as how to use the other features that Lightroom offers. This class is not for those who have never used Lightroom before – students who have never used Lightroom and are unfamiliar with using the program are encouraged to take the Intro to Lightroom class or a similar prerequisite. This class is ideal for those who have some familiarity with Lightroom but need some additional help getting up to speed. We will spend the first portion of class reviewing how to import and add images to Lightroom’s catalog and how to best organize images and folders as well as how to stay organized from within Lightroom. We will also cover image management using Lightroom including how to find images, how to move folders and images and how to export your images out of Lightroom for use on the web, social media etc and setting up export presets. We will also review features in the Develop Module and tips and techniques for processing images. Time permitting, other topics will be reviewed including using the map, book, slideshow and print modules.
This class will be held on Saturday, May 12 from 1 – 5 pm at the Cape Cod Art Center in Barnstable. For more information and to sign up, please click on this link: Lightroom Refresher Class or contact the Cape Cod Art Center at 508-362-2909.
